What We Believe |
- The Church is a Family
- In essential beliefs - we
have unity. "There is one
body and one spirit, just as you were called
to one hope when you were called- one Lord,
one faith, one baptism; one God and Father
of all..." (Ep 4:4-6)
- In non-essential beliefs - we
have liberty. "Accept him
whose faith is weak, without passing judgement
on disputable matters... who are you to
judge someone else's servant? To his own
will give an account of himself to god...
So whatever you believe about these things
keep between yourself and God." (Ro
14:1, 4, 12, 22)
- In all our beliefs - we
show charity. "If I have
the gift of prophecy and can fathom all
mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have
faith that can move mountains, but have
not love, I am nothing." (1 Co 13:2)

Weekly Scripture |
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
" (Jeremiah 17:7-8) |
